Payment Options
We accept cash, cheque, debit card, Mastercard and Visa at the front counter.
By Mail
Mail your payment to P.O. Box 1050, Lac La Biche, Alberta T0A 2C0. Payment is applied to the account on the day it is received at our office - mail is picked up daily.
At the Bank
The paper bills you receive in the mail can be paid at most banking institutions; however, please be aware that payments may take up to 5 working days to reach our office. Only when the payment is received in our office, can it be applied to your account, and any late payments (regardless of when they were paid at the bank) may be subject to interest.
The E-bills can be paid at the bank or on-line through your banking institution.
When setting up your payment through online banking, please ensure that the payee is "Lac La Biche District Gas Coop", or something similar ensuring that the name "Lac La Biche" and "Gas Coop" is in the payee description.
When registering your account number, please disregard the decimal point in the account number and add 3 zeros to the end of the account number. i.e. if your account was 12345.00, then you need to enter "1234500000". If your account is 12345.03, then enter "1234503000"

PAD - Preauthorized Debit
If you wish to have your payment automatically withdrawn from your account on the due date, then complete the PAD form, attach a void cheque, and mail or bring to the office.
A single payment rejection from your bank will result in an investigation as to the cause and possible removal from the PAD system.
Auto Credit - Mastercard or Visa
If you wish us to charge your credit card on the 20th of the month, please call our office to obtain details on how to be added to the list.
This is an option that is available at the present time; however, rules and regulations regarding credit cards are constantly changing. If this option becomes obsolete, you will be notified.
